ICC requires Web Administration consultancy services for delivering on-going administration and support for the Web Hosting Service. The Unified Web Hosting team provides both project and ongoing services and is geographically distributed among ICC locations, mainly in Europe.Job DescriptionThe resource, who shall be reporting to the Unified Web Hosting technical team lead, shall have deep knowledge of Linux operating system administration and web applications.Scope of Work / Duties of Consultant:The resource shall support the Unified Web Hosting Team on projects or ongoing support services as per arising needs.ON Call one week per monthLocation: Valencia, Spain (preferred) or Remotely within the CET Time ZoneRequired Technical Skills:The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:Prior experience in System Administration and Linux operating system.Knowledge of Open-Source Web Servers like Nginx or Apache.Experience with versioning systems (git)Ability to understand and write code in some scripting language: Bash, Python, PHP, etc.Cloud-Based services (Azure, AWS, GCP).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Service Management methodologies (ITIL).The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience: CMSs: WordPress, Drupal, Moodle, Liferay.Load-balancing and proxy technologies including CDNs.QualificationsMinimum 3 years working experience as Web Applications Administrator with a significant exposure to PHP, Java and/or Python.Required Soft Skills:Ability to distill complex problems and drive toward creative solutions; Ability to interact withcustomers, assess and gather customer requirements, compare pros and cons, propose best-suited options, and turn them into solution designs; Willingness to learn onthe job.Desirable certifications:Cloud certifications (Azure & AWS) are highly desirable.Knowledge & Experience of the LAMP stack would be an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
