Though not a technical / coding role, our new VP will be highly comfortable at all levels of technical conversations, capable of driving to the correct decision based on available facts  •Relationship builder and conflict resolver - understands the importance of strong relationships with both peers and stakeholders.
Comfortable managing strong personalities within the team, together with experience of successfully managing remote, distributed teams •Focused on team success, not individual glory.

Requirements A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership role A proven track record of building and managing high-performing, distributed engineering teams within a high-growth, international SaaS company Deep expertise in modern tech stacks and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS Experience with Agile methodologies and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence beyond the engineering team Strong understanding of software architecture and the ability to make strategic technology decisions A proactive, problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering quality results Fluent in English; additional languages (Spanish and/or Dutch) are a plus!
Bonus Skills Prior experience in SaaS or analytics software development.
Familiarity with ESG principles and sustainability practices.
Experience in mentoring and coaching other leaders in the organisation.
