Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a highly motivated projects engineer to join our team in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid. This is a fixed-term contract position that covers project activities in Spain and Portugal.Your responsibilities will encompass project coordination, from the initial quotation to product delivery for auxiliary systems orders.It is imperative that you adhere to all company guidelines, procedures, and ethical standards while effectively promoting our products and services.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assigned customer accounts to achieve or exceed order, sales, contribution, and cash conversion targets in your area of responsibility.Develop a high level of technical and commercial knowledge of our products and services to effectively promote them and support the business strategy for the client portfolio in OEMs and Projects activities for John Crane Ibérica.Prepare comprehensive quotations and value proposals for key clients in this business area. Study customer technical specifications and ensure the required compliance.Monitor and control orders in progress to provide customers with information on progress and expected delivery times when necessary.Coordinate the various departments involved in contract execution, from quotation to product delivery, including customer quotations, supplier quotations, checklist for technical data sheets, customer and EPC technical specifications, assembly coordination, commissioning, and customer-witnessed testing.Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to maintain and increase our business revenue in line with objectives.Comply with all Smiths Group guidelines and requirements related to the Code of Ethics, Health and Safety, and Environment.Diversity & InclusionWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
