Defining the visualization concept and creating specifications. Editing the overview layouts and customer-specific documents. Clarifying order details internally with other departments and externally with customers and suppliers. Creating the entire visualization. Commissioning the systems. Occasional system support during the start-up phase until production is handed over. Training of customer personnel and our own service employees. To maintain good relationships with all internal and external customers, through the provision of a high-quality service. To liaise with other Company Departments, Customers and sub-contractors. To promote personal and business continuous improvement and development of processes to achieve improved time cost and quality of project delivery. Knowledge & Experience Required: HNC/HND in Electrical/Controls Engineering as a minimum. Desirable: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline. Experience in a similar role. Good understanding of SCADA systems and where appropriate in PLC and HMI software. Hands-on experience with process visualization systems. Good understanding in the installation and configuration of computer systems and server systems. Understanding of distributed control systems desirable not essential. Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential. Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering. The role requires a willingness to travel approximately 30% to our customer locations within the EMEA European region.
