We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our pre-opening team at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, set to open in Spring 2025.As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for achieving the Sales Budget of the assigned territory. You will execute and follow the transient segment strategy, negotiating and maximizing all business opportunities from this territory to meet objectives and contribute to overall hotel sales performance and strategy.The Sales Manager will be responsible for the following:- Leads, coordinates, and builds the managed business sales efforts related to European and UK assigned territory.- Effective management of a portfolio of key accounts through planned sales activities.- Proactively manage, qualify, solicit, and book transient bookings from Europe and UK.- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders/guests, partners and actively engage in sales activities.- Monitor actual sales and revenues to determine variance, assess goal accomplishments and adjust strategies accordingly.- Able to work independently and make decisions based on established policies and procedures while sticking to budget.- Must have entrepreneurial mindset and be able to take initiative to capture business and maximize profits for the hotel.- Ensure accuracy for forecasting of revenues, monthly reports, sales budget.What are we looking for?- At least 2/3 years of experience as Sales Manager managing Europe/UK transient sales – (Previous Five Star/Luxury Hotel Sales Experience is essential).- Must have an established network of connections.- Proficient with Salesforce and previous working knowledge.- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct personal behaviour in a mature professional manner when representing the Hotel or company.- Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations; maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in dynamic and fast-changing environment.- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and Spanish (both verbal and written).- Proven negotiation skills required; must be able to persuade and influence key decision makers in the marketplace.- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that will accommodate the achievement of all business goals and directives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
