It's our Amazon Transportation Services team that ensures products are efficiently transported where they need to be before their final delivery. As a Transportation Specialist, you'll be working closely with teams across Amazon and external logistics partners to ensure enough delivery vans are available, processing new cases and acting quickly on escalations where necessary.Key Job Responsibilities Facilitate communication between stakeholders to find root causes and resolve issues quickly.Produce and deliver reports on key delivery metrics.Mentor or coach team members to help them develop new skills.Maintain high standards of work by following policies and procedures.Continually review processes to find areas for innovation.A Day in the Life This position is office-based, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon's current flexible work guidance. As a Transportation Specialist, you'll be responsible for resolving delivery performance issues that could negatively affect our customers. You'll understand the unique challenges of the transportation team and manage them collaboratively with other cross-functional teams. And we use the expertise of our people to get packages to their destination - quickly, conveniently and sustainably.Basic Qualifications Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.Relevant experience in analysing data and creating reports for leadership.Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment.Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and Spanish (C1 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR).Preferred Qualifications A degree.Experience in a logistical working environment or managing vehicle registrations
