The Foundation for International Education (FIE) is searching for a Director of Marketing to lead their overarching and evolving marketing and sales plans. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Marketing will oversee the London-based Marketing Team and work with FIE's wider team based in the UK, Ireland, Spain, and the US. As Director of Marketing, you will be at the forefront of championing the FIE's organizational mission to provide high-quality educational experiences to the global community. You will also lay strong foundations for the department and company, starting with the company's brand and voice, and looking at wider data and trends to ensure successful sales and recruitment.
What you'll do As the Director of Marketing, some of your responsibilities will include:
Creating B2B marketing and business growth plans and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer
Developing cost-effective strategic plans for business growth, marketing, brand, and communications
Supporting new university partner recruitment in collaboration with senior leadership and key staff
Managing departmental budget and reporting on return on investment across marketing and business growth campaigns and activities
Engaging in thought leadership in conjunction with FIE senior leaders to support organizational growth
Identifying and evaluating success against key performance indicators
Providing competitor and market intelligence assessments, identifying FIE's market position and USPs, and developing strategies to enhance the brand and promote FIE's position within the study abroad community
What you'll bring The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualities:
Post-graduate level or equivalent experience
Experience in the successful design, implementation, and management of marketing and recruitment strategies
Ability to understand digital and technological developments as they relate to marketing and student recruitment
Strong graphic design ability in Adobe Creative Suite
Experience in project management including web and print aspects of a busy communications and marketing office
Basic HTML knowledge
Experience working with CRM systems
Travel requirements: 1 to 2 trips per year as deemed necessary
