We are looking for an energetic, passionate and engaged Test Architect to join our Spain-based Agile Product Development team helping to define, build, maintain and support our customers' initial and ongoing experience. You will work closely with peers, customers and stakeholders globally and across functions, utilizing analytical skills and collaboration tools to deliver customer requirements to support the smooth utilization of the CloudPay platform across the world.
You will be responsible for designing, creating and maintaining the automation framework/infrastructure and to evolve our automation strategy with new tools and best practices in the market. You will also be responsible for technical leadership in the development of test strategies and plans across a complex portfolio of applications and system components.
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities include: [Test Architecture]
Lead test architecture initiatives across the organization Provide process and technical leadership in the development of test strategies and plans across a complex portfolio of applications and system components, for both monolith and microservice architecture Integrate end to end tests to CI/CD pipeline, so developers can release a code on daily basis Design and implement flexible test automation framework/s encompassing different testing phases for our platform (API, web, mobile) Refactor technically inferior or poorly performing areas of test automation Advice, counsel, and guide on platform testing and strategy including all aspects of functional and non-functional testing Advice Engineering and Product Management on Test Architecture/Quality Assurance policy matters as required [Testing]

Design and build UI, API, and integration test suites Support a project through technical test design and QA Architecture Test Automation Support Investigate and fix complex test automation issues that cause the system to fail or perform poorly Mentor and train QA Engineers on test automation solutions Attributes and Experience Required: More than 8 years of extensive QA Engineering experience testing enterprise scale systems, with at least 5 years of experience working on QA automation. Experience in designing overall test strategies for enterprise systems including a mixture of function and non-functional testing Experience testing distributed systems (microservices) using event-driven architecture Experience testing background/scheduled tasks Experience using several testing tools and frameworks (including Java/Kotlin and report tools like Allure/Serenity) Experience designing and building test automation frameworks from the ground up, ideally large-scale automation associated with a DevOps integration pipeline (preferably with GitLab) BDD mindset and experience with tools like Karate and domain languages like Gherkin In depth knowledge of good coding practices, demonstrable through code reviews and promotion of best practice/design of internal guidelines Deep understanding of various testing phases and the quality processes they entail Able to work with colleagues at all levels of the organization Working knowledge of Agile/Lean practices; sufficient to be able to work as an effective member of a Project Team Package and Benefits: Competitive annual salary 24 days annual leave, plus bank holidays Earned Wage Access (via CloudPay Now app) Birthday leave Flexible remote working Life assurance Private medical insurance Personal and professional development opportunities Friendly working environment
