.Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Job Responsibilities: Working as part of the Spain, Africa, APAC Region service team, the Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for leading and supporting the different O&M projects with all field technical reliability matters and complex troubleshooting in the wind turbines by providing safe, fast, and high-quality solutions.
Assist remotely with technical troubleshooting and provide remote support.
Lead root cause analysis in collaboration with the local O&M team and Global Support Functions (Engineering, Quality, etc.)
to develop solutions to be implemented at WF level or Fleet Level.
Assist in customer meetings and be the Global Face locally supporting and coaching the local team.
Support training programs for technicians and customers by delivering specialized troubleshooting trainings.
Support in the ramp-up process of new wind farms with local presence on site.
Map, build, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders (Local teams, 2nd and 3rd level support teams, Global Engineering, etc.).
Develop a teamwork environment within the Organization and Service's staff to ensure quick and efficient responses to Customer demands, turbine reliability issues, and availability levels.
Develop, in cooperation with the Support function, a Troubleshooting guide to ensure standardized methodology is applied globally in all projects for turbine components.
Support the development of internal standards, tools, and training materials for innovative reliability-centered and technology studies and methodologies.
Collect all WTG data, CMMS work orders, and SCADA to ensure proper analysis of failures and problems, and perform fault-finding methodology to detect and solve the cause and origin of failures.
Fault finding, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic assemblies and major components.
Promote and lead the Performance and Reliability data feedback from Site to the corresponding Global areas of the organization, looking for ways to improve such performance and ensuring that mitigation and correction plans are implemented.
Store all documentation in appropriate systems while maintaining all necessary security compliance.
YOUR PROFILE: Engineering or similar complementary training.
Experience in the wind industry (Commissioning and/or maintenance activities).
Proficiency in SCADA, Wind turbines trainings, MS Office, SAP, JDE Edwards, Excel, Power BI, Power Point.
Experienced in dealing with complex technical topics.
High level of written and spoken English (C1).
Proactive person with initiative when facing issues and responding to them.
Flexible and stress-resistant, with strong decision-making and problem-solving behavior
