- Analysis and implementation of requirements for purchased parts in new developments and technical changes.
- Active participation in the selection, evaluation and development of suppliers, independent supervision of a supplier pool.
- Manage supplier PPAP and purchased part related APQP incl. manufacturability assessment and test concept development
- Execution of the product and process release procedure incl. Run @ Rate, VDA 6.3. audits and requalifications at suppliers
- Efficient in the use of problem solving and root cause analysis methods in the case of quality deviations and independent initiation of corrective measures at suppliers
- Methodical complaint and escalation management
- Participation in the conclusion of supplier contracts
- Planning and implementation of concepts and standards to improve supplier performance and optimize processes at the interface to suppliers
- Establish quality targets with suppliers
- Evaluation and analysis of quality key figures, preparation of evaluations and reports
Your personality:
- A degree in engineering with at least 3 years of professional experience in the quality department of a manufacturing automotive company
- Deep knowledge and application experience in the use of automotive core tools (problem solving, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D etc.) and standards (IATF 16949, VDA)
- Experience in planning and execution of VDA 6.3 as well as Run@Rate audits
- Intercultural competence in dealing with suppliers
- Structured and independent way of working
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Assertiveness, goal orientation and strong communication skills
- Very good MS Office and SAP skills
- Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English, knowledge of French is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel internationally
