SEEKING: SOTI & 3D Workstation Specialist
JOB PURPOSE As the SOTI and 3D Workstation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and maintaining the company's SOTI mobile device management (MDM) platform as well as ensuring the optimal performance of 3D workstations used in design, engineering, and related applications.
Your role is crucial in ensuring that both mobile devices and 3D workstations operate seamlessly and meet the technical requirements of the organization.
KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES SOTI Mobile Device Management (MDM):Administer and manage the SOTI MobiControl platform for the enterprise's mobile devices.Configure and deploy mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) to ensure they meet security and compliance standards.Troubleshoot issues related to mobile device performance, connectivity, and security.Create and enforce policies for device security, app management, and data protection on mobile devices.Provide support for end-users regarding mobile device setup, updates, and usage.3D Workstation Management:Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of high-performance 3D workstations used for design, engineering, and 3D modeling.Ensure that 3D workstations meet the hardware and software requirements of industry-specific applications.Troubleshoot issues related to graphics performance, system compatibility, and software integration on 3D workstations.Perform regular upgrades of hardware components and software to maintain optimal performance and compatibility.Performance Optimization:Monitor and optimize the performance of mobile devices and 3D workstations, ensuring they operate efficiently.Conduct regular audits and performance tests to identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement.Implement best practices for managing both mobile devices and 3D workstations to ensure reliability and security.User Support and Training:Provide technical support to end-users for mobile devices managed through SOTI and 3D workstations.Train users on best practices for utilizing mobile devices and workstations for their specific tasks and applications.Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve more complex issues and ensure a smooth user experience.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed documentation for the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of SOTI and 3D workstations.Provide regular reports on system performance, incidents, and compliance for both mobile devices and 3D workstations.Document procedures and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing across the IT team.SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS English is the program language (oral & written), Spanish is a plus.Strong experience with SOTI MobiControl or similar mobile device management platforms.Knowledge of configuring and managing 3D workstations and performance optimization for graphic-intensive applications.Experience with 3D software and tools.Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on mobile devices and workstations.Familiarity with device security, encryption, and data protection practices.Excellent problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.Ability to analyze performance data and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining system security and performance.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assist non-technical users.Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.WE OFFER: Full-time Freelance contractRate: €240/€260 per day + VAT (According to proven experience)Long Term Project.
