WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?GMV is looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer for its activities in the areas of Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and Space Traffic Management (STM). GMV engineers use cutting-edge technologies to develop the solutions of the future. We are looking for engineers who bring new ideas, new ways of working and, above all, a passion for challenges. As an engineer, you will work on specific projects related to SST and STM with opportunities to change team, location and project as GMV grows and evolves.
Space Traffic Management (STM) is becoming an increasingly relevant topic in the space sector due to the need to manage the traffic of the population of objects orbiting the Earth, both space debris and operational satellites, which is currently growing and is expected to become even more restricted due to the launch of mega constellations.
The successful candidate will join GMV's multidisciplinary SST/STM team located in several countries, with several projects currently underway. In particular, the successful candidate will be asked to work on the following tasks:
Design and implementation of the software systems to monitor the space environmentDevelop reusable backend and frontend components using best practicesUX/UI DesignCollaborate with others in a geographically distributed teamWHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?For this position, we are looking for engineers with an interest in the space sector and with knowledge in:
