Location: Madrid - Tres Cantos Mission of the Role: To support our business in Spain, by providing strategic advice to the business, provide insights on HR best practices, managing labor relations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing expert guidance on Spanish labor laws.
Key Accountabilities
Labor Relations ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for labor relations matters, including negotiations, grievance handling, and conflict resolution. Develop and maintain strong relationships with employee representatives and foster a positive working environment. Advise management on labor relations strategies and practices that align with Visteon objectives and legal requirements. Lead investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of Visteon policies and legal standards.
HR Strategy & SupportAct as a strategic partner to business units, aligning HR practices with business goals and objectives.
Provide guidance and support to managers on HR best practices, particularly in relation to employee relations and legal compliance. Assist in the development and implementation of Visteon HR policies and procedures that are compliant with Spanish labor laws. Develop and deliver training programs for management and staff on labor relations, legal compliance, and HR policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all labor relations activities, including negotiations, agreements, and disputes.
Ensure compliance and cascade of corporate programs. Drive philosophy of high performing employees/ teams as the company's most important asset. Full understanding of critical business issues to align business and HR strategies/ goals in an optimal way.
Legal ComplianceEnsure compliance with Spanish labor laws, including employment contracts, working hours, collective bargaining agreements, and other relevant legislation. Provide expert advice on legal requirements related to employee dismissals, including redundancy processes, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures. Oversee the preparation and review of legal documents related to employment, such as termination letters, severance agreements, and settlement agreements. Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to manage complex labor law issues and mitigate legal risks.

Compliance Rate with Labor Laws: 100% of compliance in audits and inspectionsTraining Effectiveness: All managers with at least one training session on labor relations, legal compliance, and HR policies.Employee Relations Satisfaction: Positive eNPS by surveyTurnover Rate, below 15% (Visteon target)Key Year One Deliverables:
Develop and implement a comprehensive legal compliance audit to HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with Spanish labor law.Establish metrics and a reporting system to monitor and evaluate compliance and labor relations performance post-integration.Develop a risk management plan to proactively identify and address potential compliance issues related to the new company.Facilitate regular check-ins with legal counsel and external advisors to ensure ongoing compliance and address any emerging legal issues.Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
5+ years of experience in HR with a focus on labor relations and legal compliance within Spain.In-depth knowledge of Spanish labor lawsStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Proficiency in Spanish and EnglishBachelor's degree in human resources, Labor Relations, Law, or a related field. A master's degree or HR certification is a plus.Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Regional HR Director.
