At this moment, we are looking to fill the position of Senior Urban Designer (Project Manager) in our Barcelona office.
Requirements: Extensive experience within large scale urban/master planning projects and design, with management/leading experience (+10 years of experience).
Middle eastern masterplan experience.
Experience in design-lead and project-management roles.
Excellent communication skills, with English language speaking, writing, and presentation skills being a must.
Strong client management and presentation skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working.
Experience with management and coordination of project stakeholders, local authorities, and approving bodies and sub-consultants.
Ability to take initiative in response to direction from directors and partners.
Your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Defending BIG's design intent throughout all phases.
Team and project coordination.
Reporting to the Partner-in-Charge.
Communication with Client & Consultant team.
Production of contract documents.
Management and mentorship of team members.
Providing technical guidance and innovative solutions to help resolve complex technical and design challenges.
