Senior Technical Buyer (f/m/d)Rheinmetall EXPAL Munitions SAU in MadridRheinmetallRef.Nr.: ES00013Schedule type: Full TimeContract Type: Permanent PositionWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Manage the buying process for a given set of goods in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.Explore alternative sources for goods and materials.Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers.Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible.Actively participate in supplier performance reviews.Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during supplier negotiations and contracts award process.Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers.Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications.WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar technical degree.Deep knowledge of purchasing tools, negotiation methods, and business processes/communications.Advanced knowledge of assigned commodities, materials, and related production interfaces/processes.
