What You'll Do:
Build and maintain technologies and art workflows (Environments, props, characters, shaders, lighting, and rigs).
Collaborate with Art and Engineering to drive research, identify new workflows, and technologies for improved pipelines and streamlined creation processes.
Solve technical issues related to rigs, animations, hair and cloth simulations, and performance capture.
Contribute to improving naming conventions within assets, tools, and workflows.
Collaborate with other technical artists daily to find opportunities for improved workflows and tools.
Partner with the engineering team to ensure build stability and maintain memory and performance budgets.
Learn from and grow with some of the top talent in the industry.
Who Will Be A Great Fit:
3+ years in the games, film, or animation industries.
Proficiency with C#/C++.
Understanding of Maya with significant experience writing animation, rigging, shaders, and UI tools.
Experience with cloth and rigid/soft body physics setup for characters, including collision volumes.
Conversant in Python, and familiarity with MEL Script/Maya API experience.
Experience with Maya, Substance Painter/Designer, Photoshop, Perforce, and Confluence.
Experience researching, piloting, and rolling out new techniques.
Interest in gaming platform limitations and advantages.
Ability to turn creative aspirations into achievable realities.
