Participate to implement quality certifications as required.
Work with BU to implement BP.
Monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions, determined by each department as a result of an audit or some other customer issues.
Reviews the reports of non-conforming material and lead corrective and preventive actions for root cause analysis with all departments involved.
Reviews the engineering changes to make the corresponding engineering adjustments or changes in production, supervising those found in the Manufacturing area in terms of quality.
Timely provides a provision on the use and/or destination of internal or external non-conforming materials.
Stays up-to-date on quality standards and customer specifications.
Follow up on Quality Assurance regarding the QMS.
Supervises subordinate personnel, checking their work.
Manages reports NC's (non conformance), CAR's (Corrective Action Request) and operation sheets within the system.
Ensures compliance with procedures, standards and specifications established in the quality management system related to their position.
Compliance with the safety regulations applicable in the company.
Performs any other activity assigned by your immediate boss.
Performs internal audits of processes to the departments previously established in the annual program.
Hold informative meetings with engineers from the operations area and staff under their charge, to present the results of the analysis of the non-conforming material and the corrective actions that were adopted, trend analysis of the main metrics of each area, as well as have feedback about other problems that arise.
Attend and participate in quality system review meetings.
Coordinates, performs and monitors internal audits.
F/V Plan Operation verification processes of test equipment.
Prepares weekly reports of quality results in the areas of his responsibility.
Participate in continuous product quality improvement programs.
Participates as an instructor in training programs (technical-practical) for the personnel of the Manufacturing and Quality Control departments.
Participates in the introduction of new products to the plant, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Establish corrective actions as a result of customer complaints.
Participate in Six Sigma projects either as a "Green Belt" or as a team member.
Visit to external suppliers to evaluate their quality system.
Reviews customer specifications to ensure compliance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities It requires handling the English language with a 90% proficiency degree.
Bachelor of Engineering desirable.
Experience in Startups, Line transfers of machining processes.
Use of Autocad, Mechanical Desktop, SolidWorks or similar.
Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement experience.
New Product Introduction, PAP's, APQP's, FMEA and similar methodologies.
Experience in Quality assurance and control of Machining Processes is a plus.
Molding, mechanical tooling, casting, stamping, and welding.
ISO 2001:2015 or similar Certification.
Document Control.
Root Cause Analysis, 8D's, 5 whys and similar techniques.
Lean and Six Sigma Techniques (5S, Built in Quality, A3).
Good level of written and spoken English.
Good communication skills.
Very good knowledge of the quality methodologies as audit techniques, metrology, KPI.

Promote continuous improvement of processes to reduce variability.
Verify, and participate in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure that the personnel under their charge are trained in EHS according to the EHS program.
Responsible for participating and complying with training programs.
