About the role We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team, driven by our mission to "Make payments easy, flexible, and accessible for everyone." You will play a key role in delivering user-centric designs for merchants in our B2B2C ecosystem, working at pace while staying true to our core values of transparency, flexibility, ambition, respect, and collaboration.
Key Focus Areas:
Strong Design Leadership: We need someone with a strong foundation in both UX and visual design, capable of contributing to and expanding our design system while maintaining visual coherence across products.
Jobs to Be Done Framework: Your experience in the JTBD framework will be crucial in understanding and mapping out customer needs, ensuring our products are built around real user problems and solutions.
Independent User Research: We are looking for someone who can independently plan, conduct, and analyze both qualitative and quantitative user research. You'll be expected to take initiative in uncovering deep user insights, validating hypotheses, and continuously improving our products based on real-world feedback.
What you'll do As a Senior Product Designer, you will:
Deliver High-Quality Designs at Pace: You will be working in an agile environment, where rapid iteration and continuous delivery are key. Your ability to deliver high-quality designs quickly will help us meet our ambitious product goals while staying adaptable and transparent with the rest of the team.
Lead Research Using Hotjar and Mixpanel: You will independently plan and conduct user research using tools like Hotjar, uncovering deep insights that inform your designs. Your work will reflect the flexibility needed to adapt to diverse user needs and the ambition to drive continuous improvement.
Create Innovative and Developer-Ready Designs in Figma: Your Figma expertise will be essential as you produce designs that developers can immediately extract CSS from, ensuring that design handoff is smooth, efficient, and collaborative. You'll work closely with product managers and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration.
What We're Looking For? When we iterate and deliver incremental value, we often go through multiple solutions, learning and improving as we progress, rather than trying to achieve a perfect final product from the outset. In this process, our company values are key:
Transparency: A clear, straightforward communicator who can articulate design decisions and user research findings in an understandable way.
Flexibility: Proficient in Hotjar and able to adapt quickly based on user feedback and changing project requirements.
Ambition: Driven by a desire for continuous improvement, using the Jobs to Be Done approach to shape solutions that go beyond the surface and address deep user needs.
Respect and Collaboration: A team player who listens and values diversity of opinion, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone's input is respected and valued.
Pace: Proven ability to deliver high-quality designs quickly, using Figma to create developer-ready designs with CSS extraction for seamless handoff.
