Position: Senior Process Automation Engineer

As a member of the Polyurethane (PU) Business Focused Team, a part of Dow's Process Automation Technology Group within Technical Expertise & Support (TES), you will be joining a global team of professionals providing Process Automation solutions to the PU Business. This role is based in Tarragona, Spain supporting Alkoxylation within the PU portfolio of technologies.
Responsibilities Design and/or modify the ABB 800xA basic process control system (BPCS). Develop the functional requirement specification (FRS) for the system & create detailed design specifications (DDS).Develop control software, operator graphics and simulation software. Complete the factory acceptance tests (FAT) and commissioning activities. Provide training of operations and support commissioning and start-up of the manufacturing assets.Partner with other engineers and technicians to determine the process control requirements.
