We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with proficiency in the C# ecosystem to join our Spain-based ShipEngine Apps team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing features that serve as the foundation for a shipping platform used by millions of people worldwide while serving as a mentor for mid-level and associate engineers.
What you'll be doing? Be an active contributor during the design and implementation phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Collaborate with other members of the software engineering team to develop shipping software products
The Tech stack:
C#, .Net Core, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL
AWS, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Docker, Kubernetes
What are we looking for? Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal , sufficient for success in a work environment
Exceptional communication skills and team skills
Experience in an Agile software development environment
Understanding of advanced object-oriented design and SOLID design principles
Experience with creating and maintaining automated unit tests and integration tests in a test-driven development environment
Strong understanding of SQL, relational database systems, and ORM frameworks
What will make you stand out? Four to Six (4-6) years of experience in a software development role
Experience in a SaaS company, preferably within the eCommerce or shipping software industries
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, or equivalent years of relevant work experience
What do we offer? Clear and transparent compensation plan. The salary range is € 47,000 to € 60,000.
