No Offer Description To initiate the selection process for the hiring of 1 Senior Research Technician on a temporary contract, in accordance with the criteria, requirements and selection system established in the attached Annex.
Handling of samples from patients with haematological malignancies, mainly MDS, processing, storage, analysis.
Creation and completion of international database for the study.
Coordination with other centres of the Spanish MDS Group (GESMD) to identify patients, samples and send results to the project.
Elaboration of standard operating procedures Specific Requirements 1.Be a Spanish national, a national of a member country of the European Union or a foreigner with a residence and work permit in Spain.
2.
Hold at least a Higher Vocational Training Technician Degree in analysis and quality control laboratories.
3.
Minimum 3 years' experience required The minimum requirements must be accredited with those certificates that are valid in law, including all those that demonstrate the aforementioned professional experience, in line with the functions to be performed and the assessment criteria.
In the case of qualifications obtained abroad, their homologation must necessarily be accredited.
The conclusion of the contract is subject to the availability of the project's budget and to the successful candidate's compliance with the requirements of current employment legislation.

- In RNA, DNA, protein extraction - In handling and cryopreservation of RNA, DNA, proteins.
- In handling and cryopreservation of samples of haematopoietic malignancies.
- In cell population separation techniques - Development of standard operating procedures.
- - Work experience in organising and coordinating laboratory activities and the sampling plan, performing all types of tests and analyses on samples, oriented towards research with quality control, interpreting the results obtained and acting in accordance with good clinical laboratory practice.
- - Reading level of English.
Implementation and standardisation of new laboratory techniques.
