We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our client's dynamic IT team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive:
Experience in managing LAN and WAN networksExpertise with Windows, Linux, and AS400 operating systemsProficiency in cloud solutions, specifically Azure, and expertise in managing Checkpoint and FortiGate firewalls are essential Job DescriptionNetwork Management: Design, implement, and maintain LAN and WAN networks.Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring high levels of performance, security, and availability.System Administration: Manage and support Windows, Linux, and AS400 operating systems.Perform system upgrades, installations, and configurations.Implement and manage virtualized environments.Ms Office365 tenant administration, including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, global tenant settings, etc.VmWare virtual environment administration.Backup supervision (Veritas BackupExec and Veeam)Cloud Management: Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud services.Ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud solutions with on-premises infrastructure.Security Management: Configure, manage, and maintain Checkpoint and Fortigate firewalls.Implement and monitor security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.Conduct regular security assessments and audits.Leadership and Management: Demonstrate strong management capabilities, leading teams effectively to achieve operational goals.Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and ensure adherence to best practices and company policies.Help Desk Coordination: Oversee the help desk services, ensuring timely and effective support to end-users.Develop and implement help desk policies and procedures.RequirementsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or a similar role.In-depth knowledge of LAN, WAN, and network management.Expertise in Windows, Linux, and AS400 operating systems.Proven experience with Azure cloud services and data center management.Strong knowledge of Checkpoint and Fortigate firewall management.Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and organizational skills.English and Spanish at a professional level; French would be a plus.
