As a Head of Data Quality Governance, you will: Support the Global Santander CIB Chief Data Officer & Data Science, in accordance with Santander Group guidelines, to define data quality standards and ensure that they are achieved through regular maintenance activities. Enact an overall data quality strategy transversally to SCIB. Enforce data quality initiatives, such as data quality at inception, and pursue the fulfillment of all regulatory obligations. Define data quality principles/policies/rules for SCIB (based on Group principles). Oversee data compliance with these principles and policies, identify gaps, and communicate non-compliance. Participate, together with internal stakeholders, in the identification, classification, root cause analysis of data issues, determination of business impact level, and define the remediation plan. Manage the relationship with Global Santander CIB Quality Officer, data owner, and process owner. Coordinate internal & external data quality audits and certification processes (global Standards, DISA). Collaborate and coordinate with the Data Management team to ensure the implementation of governance processes. Keep updated on the latest methodologies and technical solutions about data quality evaluation and follow up. EXPERIENCE 8+ years of experience in large change programs, particularly for data projects. Proven strong experience in data quality governance and overseeing data quality activities. Proven experience in providing a competitive strategy with timely priorities and in communicating the strategy convincingly to senior management. EDUCATION University Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Law, or related disciplines.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE High level of Spanish and English. Knowledge of and ability to align the organization's people and culture with changes in business strategy, organizational structure, technology, and business processes.
