Senior Analytics EngineerWho are we looking for?We are currently seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Analytics Engineer to join our RatedPower team working in Madrid or remote. Be a part of the energy transition and join our growing team, creating intelligent connections across the energy value chain with a strategic focus on growing our offerings in Power & Renewables.The new hire will help us formalize our current dashboards, create new metrics, and design new event-driven data collection methods.The ideal candidate should be interested in discovering new metrics and not be afraid to question whether our current methods could be improved. As an Analytics Engineer at RatedPower, you would work closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to help them find new ways of thinking about our clients and identifying/categorizing our users.Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to help them improve their analytics by creating new dashboards and thinking about new metrics.Design data collection methods and data models around app usage.Automate manual data processes being done across teams.Assist with root cause analysis to answer specific business questions.Work cross-functionally across the organization to communicate needs to the engineering org and blockers to stakeholders.Required Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in data analytics, statistics, project management, or a related field.Proficiency in relational databases and SQL. Exposure to Snowflake is a plus.Experience designing dashboards.Exposure to PowerBI is a plus.Experience with event-driven analytics and data modeling.Capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex business activities, technical requirements, and recommendations.Strong analytics skills and problem-solving skills, especially when it comes to finding data to complete a task or designing a process to collect the data needed.A proactive approach and suggesting new analytics to teams is also important.Automating complex data pipelines and workflow orchestration using tools like Prefect is a plus.What we offer:Work on a unique product where you can see the result of your work materialize in every new release.You choose: position fully remote (based in Spain) or hybrid working model (able to combine working from home and from our office in Madrid city center).Great teamwork working side by side with an incredibly talented workforce willing to share its knowledge and expertise.Career development according to your aspirations and interests.
