Job overviewDallington School Madrid requires a Secondary Science Lead Teacher with experience in IGCSEs and A LevelsDallington School is a family school in Madrid which in just ten years has become one of the most popular schools in Madrid. We are looking for a team of leading teachers to help us open, in the next academic year 25-26, The Dallington College, for our KS5 students.
We are seeking a Science Lead Teacher for KS4 and KS5, with experience preparing for IGCSE exams and A Levels. The candidate must have experience teaching at least Coordinated Science at an IGCSE level. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
Our Science teacher must have a certified teaching qualification in Science (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology), have native-level English, and have at least 5 years of experience as a Science teacher in Secondary. QTS, PGCE, or IB qualification is required.
To complete a full-time position next academic year, experience and willingness to teach other subjects such as Mathematics, or ICT in KS3 or Computer Science in KS4 will be valued.
The start date will be the 8th January 2024. The gross salary will be according to teaching scales, experience, and hours of teaching (28.000€-38.000€).
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS 1. QUALIFICATIONS: Certified teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE) and Science Degree.

4. EUROPEAN RESIDENCY: candidates must have a work permit or residency in Spain, or hold a European passport. Candidates living in Spain will be especially considered.
