WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a VP in the Global Consumer Retail Industry Group, you will be a key player in our business strategy and execution.
You will support in the origination and execution of MA, Equity Capital Market, Leveraged Finance, and Acquisition Finance mandates focused on Latin America (main focus) and Europe.
You will participate in the "full cycle" of transactional execution, including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting client presentations.
You will be working with analysts and associates, as well as assisting more senior bankers within the team and organization.
You will develop/strengthen your Consumer Retail Industry know-how and demonstrate the ability to become a senior banker who is capable of generating and executing his/her transactions.
We need someone like you to help us on different fronts: The candidate will be expected to take direct coordination and execution responsibilities in all assignments while interacting with senior team members and client management teams to discuss strategic alternatives, support originate mandates, and execute transactions.
Build detailed financial models to analyze the impact of mergers, acquisitions, disposals, leveraged buyouts, and capital raises on earnings, cash flow, credit profile, and ownership.
Perform, define, guide, and review company valuations using various valuation methods such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, comparable, and prepare internal and external presentations.
Participate in client meetings and other client interactions during which the candidate will gain exposure to key executives and senior management of large corporate and financial sponsors.
The candidate must demonstrate an exemplary attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit.
EXPERIENCE Years of mandatory experience in MA (including internships) from a top-tier investment bank EDUCATION Graduate from top-tier business/engineering schools SKILLS KNOWLEDGE Strong analytical and quantitative skills Proven ability to meet deadlines while paying attention to details Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling skills Team worker, with the ability to work in a truly international environment and with the availability to travel Emotional intelligence effective to work in global teams Strong interest in the Consumer Retail sectors and emerging markets Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
