Position Overview: We are looking for an organized and detail-focused General Ledger Accountant to join our team, responsible for ensuring accurate financial data, month-end reconciliations, and GAAP-compliant reporting. In this role at TubeScience, you will handle G/L transactions, bank reconciliations, month-end close, payroll, financial analysis, and support AR/AP and tax payments. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you'll work closely with stakeholders and external accounting teams to maintain timely and accurate financial reports. Key Responsibilities: General Ledger & Month-End Close: Oversee G/L transactions, conduct month-end close, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations for loans, taxes, and assets. Generate and analyze financial statements for internal and external stakeholders, and complete month-end reporting. Reconcile daily bank and credit card transactions, manage corporate credit expenses, and ensure accurate cash applications. Accounts Payable & Contractor Management: Process vendor invoices, oversee contractor payments, and manage accounts payable records and aging statements. Payroll: Process bi-weekly payroll entries, handle payroll allocations, and ensure updates are accurate and compliant. Prepare financial statements, ensure tax compliance, and manage AR aging reports and client reminders. Credit Card & Asset Management: Monitor corporate credit card usage, track fixed assets, and maintain asset reconciliation records. Ad-Hoc Projects: Support special projects, assist with financial analyses, and manage ongoing reporting needs. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA certification or progress towards it is ideal. Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years in general ledger accounting and month-end close processes. Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Bill.Com, ERP systems, and Excel/Google Sheets. Experience with online banking and credit card management platforms (e.G., Ramp). Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Communication Skills: Ability to work with key stakeholders and provide clear, timely reports
