As a partner of choice, RateGain is looking to further focus on the experience of its customers and our potential customers-to-be and seeks a hungry, motivated and detail-oriented Sales Development Representative focused on European markets, to further scale the speed and ability of RateGain to serve the needs of the hospitality industry.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can be comfortable managing multiple projects at one time. This individual will be responsible for initiating, nurturing and following through commercial conversations from the initial contacts to the agreements via multiple channels and touchpoints – social media, phone calls, targeted ads, email campaigns, and direct email communication. The role will collaborate closely with the European Sales team and our European Marketing team to ensure concise messaging to the industry.
This is an individual contributor role and, as such, the candidate is expected to be a self-starter and self-driven, ready to be hands-on to deliver on multiple projects whilst keeping the company goals and the bigger picture firmly in mind. Responsibilities: Work in tandem with the sales team to identify and reach out to potential customers to be added at the top of the funnel.Engage with user groups within the target verticals to understand requirements and conduct demos.Identify opportunities within the market and create targeted approaches to capture new business opportunities.Assist with execution/preparation of trade shows and sales calls, outbound cold calls and emails.Perform analysis of marketing and sales data, collect quantitative and qualitative data.Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials - both on and offline.Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest ensuring optimal coverage of all territories at all times.Perform market analysis and research on prospecting new clients.Enter contact information into contact management systems.Database entry: maintain, improve and expand database of prospects.
