Be a key driver on BASF's path to digitalisation by supporting existing products and initiatives as well as innovating additional digital solutions that support BASF's global businesses.About the Job:Role specific activities:Collaborate with product owners, co-developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders.Write efficient and robust code, test, and deploy it.Identify areas for modification in existing programs.Work in an agile environment using an agile tool-stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, GitLab).Required:Fluent communication in English is required.Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable from an accredited college or university is required.7+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions.5+ years in Java, Spring Framework, Maven, and REST APIs.Experience in practical implementation of infrastructure-as-code.Experience in working with agile methodologies.Experience in cloud technologies; Azure or AWS.Analytical capabilities.Experience in working in global/virtual teams/projects.An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to foster a positive and energized culture.A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve.Nice to have:Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, React, Non-SQL DB.Test automation.Ideally know-how in Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, and other technologies.IT-Security knowledge.Ability to work efficiently under pressure on non-routine and highly complex tasks.Ability to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe.
