Offer Description EURECAT - Technology Center of Catalonia is looking to hire an electronic engineer to strengthen its Smart Products line within the Product Innovation and Multiphysics Simulation Unit.
This unit helps companies design and technologically develop new products, offering unique value propositions with a multidisciplinary approach by incorporating Eurecat's various technologies.
The selected candidate will participate in the development of firmware and programming for electronic devices.
Minimum Qualifications Education: Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
Programming Experience: Proficiency in low-level languages such as C, C++, as well as Python.
Experience in embedded software development for microcontroller and microprocessor systems, preferably with one or more of the following: STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Nordic, ARM processors.
Knowledge of serial communication protocols and buses, such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB, etc.
Experience with common wireless communications for IoT devices, such as Bluetooth, WiFi, GSM, LoRa, NBIoT, etc.
Ability to design fault-tolerant and redundant firmware to ensure the robustness, reliability, and security of devices.
Knowledge of security for connected devices, including authentication, encryption, and protection.
Data management skills, including knowledge of techniques for data collection, processing, and storage.
Familiarity with real-time operating systems such as FreeRTOS and integrated development environments (IDEs).
Specific Requirements Basic knowledge of electronics, especially for debugging purposes.
Ability to collaborate with other hardware, software, and test engineers to achieve project goals.
Good communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Continuous learning ability.
