RESEARCH STAFF: NUMERICAL MODELLING OF HYDROGEN EMBRITTLEMENT - MASTER IN ENGINEERING OR APPLIED SCIENCES - UNIVERSITY OF BURGOS The Principal Investigator of the research project "Hydrogen Embrittlement mitigation through Layered diffusion patterns in Metals (HELMet)", will soon open a call for a full-time postdoctoral position, which will take place in the area of Continuum Mechanics and Structural Theory of the University of Burgos.
AIM:
Development of numerical models of hydrogen embrittlement related to the project objectives
Publication of scientific articles in high-impact journals
Attendance at conferences and presentation of project-derived results
Collaboration in outreach activities to disseminate project results to society
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in engineering or applied sciences.
Experience in modelling, especially in Finite Element modelling
Skills in scientific programming, e.g. Matlab, Python, etc.
*The hired person will have to enroll in a PhD program.
