Mission: Join us as a Regulatory Compliance Officer for Spain to navigate and enhance our compliance framework in this crucial market for Qonto, ensuring alignment with local regulations and fostering trust with our Supervisors. As part of our dynamic Risk and Compliance team, your insights and expertise will directly influence our operations and growth in the market.
You will: Act as the main point of contact for the competent authorities in Spain to maintain trustful and reliable relationships with Qonto's Supervisors. This includes ad hoc requests, contribution to regulatory reporting, and the coordination of onsite control inspections.Engage in proactive identification and mitigation of compliance risks, through new product reviews, partnerships & outsourcing approvals, etc.Participate in cross-functional team projects to roll out Qonto's strategy to become Europe's #1 online business account.Lead and manage compliance projects, setting benchmarks for success.What you can expect: You'll be stepping into a role that places you at the forefront of our expansion in one of Europe's key markets.Work with a team that values clear communication, process simplicity, and proactive problem-solving.Engage with top-level management and competent authorities, enhancing your visibility and empowerment.Continuously develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced growing environment.About You: Experience: You have solid experience in regulatory compliance within the banking or payment industry, preferably with direct exposure to Spanish competent authorities.Teamwork: You thrive in cross-functional teams and are skilled at working collaboratively.Communication: You can distill complex regulations into understandable terms and communicate them to various audiences in fluent Spanish and English.Analytical Thinking: You proactively identify compliance risks and enjoy solving complex problems.Structured: You are highly organized and can manage multiple priorities effectively.A tailor-made and dynamic career track.
