DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a Spain Procurement Manager to lead and manage a team of several geographically dispersed site Fulfilment Center (FC) Procurement team members. This individual will lead their team to provide meaningful procurement solutions and deliver against key performance indicators to contribute against regional procurement and local operational FC goals. They will integrate with key site and regional operational and support leaders driving procurement contributions.
Key job responsibilities Hire and develop a strong team able to deliver procurement solutions and scale with the network demands on a long-term planning horizon.Lead team to develop and manage a dependable, cost-effective, and high-performing supply chain for locally managed goods and services.Ensure network-wide standardization for all procurement related processes and FC service activities.Partner with internal customers to positively influence spending decisions.Lead sourcing engagements, as well as sourcing teams, as you identify new opportunities and RFXs, where appropriate.Analyze and determine opportunities to leverage and rationalize the supply base, using smart analytical tools and techniques.Implement supplier agreements/contracts, by working with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers as you reach agreement on contract terms and conditions.Establish a range of services and supplies for cross-functional teams while driving out cost and improving overall service of the supply chain.Lead/participate in large cross-functional network cost-out projects.Drive 100% compliance to policies and procedures with operations partners.Drive elimination of 'waste' within FC Procurement processes in order to define best and standardized practice across the network.Manage projects against plans and objectives, always ensuring commitments are met. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or Finance or equivalent.Relevant sourcing experience.Previous management experience.Motivation to learn, develop, and perform in a fast-paced environment.Proven project management skills and experience.Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.Attention-to-detail, alongside proven ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities.Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g. Oracle, Coupa, and SAP).Microsoft Excel skills, alongside willingness to learn proprietary systems.Experience with metrics creation and data presentation.Proficient in Spanish and English (written and spoken). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced degree such as a Masters in Procurement.Advanced Supply chain certifications.Advanced Analytics and communication skills and experience.Previous experience in Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics/Ecommerce.
