The RoleWhat you will be doing
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer who will manage exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. You will design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions, review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts). You will also monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
We expect you to be able to build consistent and efficient tests, delivering them on time. You should also hold an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end solutions to software quality problems.
Prepare detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test casesReview requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackPlan and coordinate testing activities, thoroughly identifying and documenting bugsBuild and execute automation scripts using open source toolsOrganize testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needsCollaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirementsReview debugging process resultsTrack quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect countsAnalyze the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutionsMaintain relevant knowledge about new testing tools and test strategies Knowledge and skills you need to have: 4+ years' experience in a similar position (QA Engineer, QA Automation)Knowledge of:technical architecture of systems for white box testing purposestest management tools like Jira/Xray, Jira/Zephyrautomation pattern designs in order to build scalable frameworks/projectsHTML and CSSGeneral experience in Test Plan, Analysis and Design best practicesExperience and understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles and lifecycleSolid experience (2+ years) scripting (.NET) for web or API testing automation purposeKnowledge of automation pattern designs in order to build scalable frameworks/projectsGeneral knowledge of HTML and CSSKnowledge/Experience with performance testing tools like K6 with some specific reporter plugin/toolBeing a careful about details and having a critical mindset on reviewing deliverables with all focus on system's qualityAttention to detail and a critical mindset on reviewing deliverables with all focus on system´s qualityGreat analytical skills and able to gather information for Testing purposesGood oral and written communication skillsAble to work independently with minimum supervisionMinimum B2 Spanish and English Bonus points for the followingKnowledge/Certification on ISTQB standardExperience with Cross Browser Testing tools like BrowserstackKnowledge of SQL (queries)Experience with e-commerce, financial, banking or similar industry testingKnowledge on testing strategies through BackEnd systems with high level of interactions such as Message Brokers, Events, or SSE-based systems Why work at FoshTech?We will give youthe opportunity to be the best version of yourself, develop professionally and create strong working relationships working remote or on site.
