Job description: We are looking for an EPC Purchase Engineer to join a recently created EPC Projects' division at EAG (Empresarios Agrupados GHESA).
You will be provided with the opportunity to grow and become lead purchaser within the department.
Responsibilities: Supplier qualification and monitoring of issuance/reception of NDAs together with the updating and monitoring of project supplier list.
Lead the process of sending RFQs, expedite the reception of quotations, negotiate and prepare the associated documentation for the Award Proposal to establish the correspondent purchase orders with the potential suppliers.
Elaboration of purchasing report in accordance to the schedule and potential impact on the project execution in terms of schedule or cost.
Required academic degree: Relevant engineering degree.
Required experience: 5 years in purchasing, including at least 3 years of proven experience in EPC project(s)' procurement.
Desired experience: Negotiation of purchase orders.
Business Intelligence (BI).
Software requirements: Proficient use of MS Office tools.
Languages: English: Required advanced level both spoken and written.
French: Desirable advanced level both spoken and written.
Job location: The first project requires temporarily for the job to be performed locally near Casablanca, Morocco, with travel to the site near Midelt.
Type of position: This is a long-term position.
After the end of this project, estimated to be over in 07/2026, you will be based again in the HQ in Madrid, Spain.
