We are looking for a CLOUD ARCHITECT based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE (Madrid) office, with at least 5 years of experience in Public Cloud. Your role We are looking for a CLOUD ARCHITECT based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE (Madrid) office. This area is responsible for providing a Global Platform, based in Cloud Service Provider services, from the design, development, deployment to operation; for all the different entities within Santander Group, to enable their journey to cloud, a key team in our technology ecosystem.
Your main tasks will be:
Contribute to the definition of Cloud Strategy and Architecture. Provide architectural support on how to design highly scalable, flexible, resilient, secure and cost-effective cloud architectures helping the Group to understand advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. Contribute to the definition of the Public Cloud architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices for large scale technology solution: open systems application and infrastructure, network and system management solutions, security, monitoring, IT Operations and processes, DevOps, APIs. Monitor public cloud usage and optimize configuration to reduce operation costs. What you'll bring If you think you've got what it takes, these are the key skills we'll be looking for in your CV:
University Degree Post-graduate will be a plus. +5 years' experience as a Cloud Architect Be used to the Agile ways of working. Fluent in English and Spanish written and spoken. Knowledge of concepts, applications, technologies of cloud computing; ability to design and develop systems architectures that fulfil the cloud computing services.
