Job Description

Responsibility for all phases of the procurement process in the entire project Identification and realization of savings potentials Establishment and expansion of a global supplier network for project-specific procurement scopes Observation of global procurement markets Expediting visits, review with suppliers, setup of improvement plans Continuous optimization of commercial and time-related supply conditions Creating framework agreements Ongoing cost control of the purchasing share in the project Close cooperation with the project manager to prevent sourcing bottlenecks


The Successful Applicant

Apprenticeship with a technical background; studies in engineering are an advantage Several years of professional experience in procurement and/or project engineering as well as highly-developed commercial and technical expertise Entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as negotiating skills Cost awareness Ability to work in a team and deal positively with people Very good written and spoken English Confident handling of SAP and MS-Office Willingness to travel worldwide (about 30%)
