Job Description EcoVadis is the world leader in Sustainability Ratings. EcoVadis Product and Solutions team, led by our Chief Solutions Officer, is responsible for overseeing the product strategy and prioritization, solution roadmap, and cross-company coordination to drive commercial success of named products and add-ons.
In the dynamic realm of our Product and Solutions department, Product Owners play a pivotal role by leading the product discovery and delivery. Working closely with the product management team, they are key contributors to uncovering innovative solutions. While being an integral part of the product team, Product Owners engage in close collaboration with engineering teams to bring ideas to life. They actively participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute to prototyping, and continually validate concepts against the dynamic market landscape. Additionally, Product Owners are deeply involved in all Scrum ceremonies, including refinement and sprint planning, adhering to the Scrum methodology. This immersive approach ensures their hands-on involvement in driving product evolution in unforeseen directions, fostering an environment of adaptability and innovation.
We are looking for someone with experience in the SaaS industry. Successful candidates will have a strong foundation in agile methodology as a Product Owner. The ability to lead product discovery and delivery and collaborate effectively with engineering and subject matter experts to build successful products is a must.
In this role you will:
Own an area of the product and drive product evolution and innovation. 
Understand customer needs and business context through the process of continuous product discovery to build impactful product
Work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Team, and other EcoVadis departments to ensure that deliverables meet business needs and quality standards
Be accountable for and lead the product delivery of your squad:
Be the functional referent of your squad;
Manage your backlog based on priorities to deliver the maximum value;
Translate functional, product, or business requirements into user stories;
Work closely with stakeholders, users, testers, and the development team during the full development life cycle;
Work closely with the design team to provide a first-class interface and user experience;
Report status to stakeholders and management on a regular basis to provide transparency.
Participate in defining and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data that drive the success of our products
Bring insights from our product's data and analytics to inform decision-making
Qualifications 5+ years of working experience as a product owner ideally in the context of SaaS Web application;
Bachelor, Master of Engineering in computer science field or other relevant degree;
Strong analytical and organizational skills;
Experience with product discovery techniques;
Proven experience in working with various stakeholders in the business including design and technical teams;
Proficiency in prioritizing features and tasks based on strategic goals, business impact, and customer needs. The ability to make well-informed decisions to optimize the product roadmap and deliver maximum value;
In-depth understanding and practical application of Scrum methodology, with hands-on experience in all Scrum ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, etc.). The ability to adapt and thrive in an agile environment is crucial.
You show curiosity and possess an appreciation for thinking outside the box;
Highly professional written and oral communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills required.
Culturally sensitive and able to communicate effectively across cross-functional and multi-regions;
