Your mission as a Product Merchandiser will be...Analyze the drivers of Desigual's demand in order to generate a forecast that helps the Organization to cover the channel's needs in terms of stock availability and product allocation. It may coordinate with the involved Areas/Departments the purchasing processes, by preparing and monitoring the proper budgets, as well as defining accurate purchasing and replenishment plans that adjust to the best product availability, in order to ensure balance between supply and demand, maximizing sales and optimizing the excess stock.
Your main responsibilities will be...Demand planning: Analyze the historical sales evolution, purchasing budgets, the commercial initiatives/events undertaken in past seasons and the planned initiatives for the current season within the different channels and product categories, in order to define aggregate demand forecasts. Manage and monitor forecasts on a weekly basis, taking into account the replenishment needs in order to avoid stockouts, detect deviations and suggest corrective actions to ensure the proper availability of products at the POS.Purchasing process management: Coordinate the sales and purchasing budget preparation process for all channels.Stocks and replenishment management: Analyze the sales forecasts, the purchasing orders status and other related parameters and prepare inventory forecasts projections for the Organization. Review and keep updated the inventory forecasts in case of modifications or deviations on the purchasing orders situation, adjusting them to demand and avoiding stockouts. Manage, monitor and optimize the stock excesses, destructions or slow movers.Budget and KPI's monitoring: Coordinate the initial purchasing budgets and monitor its evolution in coordination with the proper channels, in order to detect deviations and suggest corrective actions to mitigate potential risks. Analyze planning indicators through the proper KPI's, detecting improvement areas and suggesting corrective actions as required.Coordination with other Areas/Departments: Coordinate with other Areas/Departments for the proper performance of the Department and the Company.Key user: Act as a key user by being involved in the definition of functional requirements for new tools or functionalities, or participating in specific projects.What we require:Fluent in English and SpanishMinimum Experience 1-2 yearsResult and team-orientedPassion for Fashion and Retail
