Postdoctoral Position Offer On Rna Structured Therapeutics

Funciones:The project is co-led by Dr. Fernando Pastor and Dr. Puri Fortes, building on previous work from both groups (E. Rovira et al. ACS nano 2023, A. Puravankara et al. Mol Ther Nucleic Acids 2024, De Bragança Stal Cell Rep 2023, J. Unfried et al. Cancer Res 2021). The project focuses on the identification and characterization of natural and artificial RNA structured elements that exert regulatory functions in cancer. These novel RNA structured elements will be harnessed for cancer therapeutics.The project will require, among other tasks: RNA structure screening using different variants of SELEX, massive high-throughput performance of RNA at different levels (PARIS, RNAseq, scRNAseq), and validation of such structured elements in cell culture.Requisitos:We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals interested in the area of research related to RNA structure and function with translational potential in cancer therapeutics. Candidates should have laboratory experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques.
