ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.LugarBarcelona, Campus ClinicWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORISGlobal is seeking a Personal Assistant who will assist Alberto García-Basteiro, leader of the Tuberculosis Group, with the smooth running of administrative and communications tasks related to TB research projects and the overall TB unit.The research group on Tuberculosis focuses on 4 main lines of investigation:Determine disease burden in vulnerable populations (children, HIV-infected, pregnant)Assess the impact of innovative strategies for the active search for cases based on spatial parameters, population density and microbial load in index casesEvaluate new diagnostic tools in contexts of high prevalence of TB and HIVEvaluate new biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of TBTRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Biology, Global Health, Political Science, Sociology or related fieldsProfessional Training in Administration2+ years of working experience in administration / personal assistant rolesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssisting with the organization of in-person and online meetings & eventsPlanning and organizing trips, and high-level visits required for the projectsSupport the PI in any administrative need related to research projectsManaging the communications (website, social media management, events etc.) of different research projects.SKILLSTeamworkProblem resolutionLearning capacityExcellent organization and communication skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsCONDITIONSDuration: 1 year (renewable)Starting date: 15 Oct 2024Contract: Full-timeSalary Range: According to experience and qualificationsHOW TO APPLYApplicants must fill in the request form and include the following code reference position: Personal Assistant_TB_Sept 2024, attach the CV and a Cover Letter. To assess the person's skills and CV.2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.If needed, any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
