We're searching for a Senior People Partner to join a global fintech scale-up to lead their HR strategy in Spain & Portugal. The group is already profitable, with five brands and a global team of 700+. With fresh PE investment and a new C-level team, they're preparing for their next wave of growth. We've worked closely with their CPO over the last year to build out their new People team. You'll be their first People Partner hire in Spain.Reporting to the CPO, this is a senior individual contributor role acting as a trusted partner to their sales leadership team and 120+ employees in the region. You'll support the regional sales org through significant change, improving the employee experience, and driving performance. You'll work closely with the wider People team to align HR strategies and practices across the organization. Your key focus:Strategic Partnership: Building strong relationships with senior leaders, and becoming a key member of their extended leadership team. Guide them through people cycles including performance management, growth strategies, compensation planning, engagement initiatives, and workforce planning.Leadership Coaching: Developing and coaching leaders on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and team dynamics, empowering them to handle HR matters independently.Employee Advocacy: Serving as a neutral, approachable resource for employees to discuss sensitive issues, and lead on employee relations cases to ensure fair and consistent resolution.Operational Support: Assist the central People Operations team with day-to-day HR generalist activities. Collaborating with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing.What we're looking For:Experience: Proven experience as a People Partner in a fast-paced, tech-first environment with fluent Spanish and English. Labor Law Expertise: Deep knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese labor laws and benefits, with a strong background in employee relations.Sales Support: Experience supporting and coaching sales teams, including knowledge of organizational structure, performance plans, compensation, and incentives.Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively to connect with the field sales organization along the Southeastern coast of Spain.Location, Compensation & Ways of Working:We are looking for candidates based on the Southeastern coast of Spain preferably in Malaga or Alicante. Barcelona or Madrid is an option but this role will involve a very high % travel.
