Grow with us as we embark on building tomorrow together by being the safest, most diverse and most profitable industrial gas company in the world.Reimagine What's PossibleWe are looking for a Payroll Specialist for the Netherlands based in Barcelona.You will manage a wide variety of payroll-related tasks, like processing salary information, payroll-related expenses, and timesheets, and much more! You will be responsible for the Netherlands payroll with a headcount of 440 employees.As a Payroll Specialist, you will:Ensure accurate and timely processing of the payroll for our employees.Ensure fixed payroll data is accurately and timely transferred to regional payroll platform from WORKDAY - SAP HR.Initiate the monthly pay cycles and resolve pay issues.Manage expatriate payments for international assignees.Review system-generated reports, determine if accurate processing was accomplished, and correct any errors.Perform tasks to establish and maintain employee payroll and benefits records (wages, commissions, incentives, hospitalization and other insurance policies, pension schemes).Respond to inquiries of employees.Actively participate in payroll-related work process improvement initiatives.Participate in the development of best practices within the scope of payroll processing.Collaborate with an external provider(s), stay current on payroll practices and regulations for the countries.Develop relationships with provider and Country HR Managers to ensure the smooth flow of payroll-related information.Remit payments to tax and social insurance authorities and benefits providers; complete and submit any required regulatory forms.You will have:You have proven experience of at least 3 years as a Payroll Specialist for the Dutch market within an international environment.You have a high level of English and Dutch. Any other language is a plus.You are recognized for your team spirit, and you appreciate communication.You are a self-starter and like to take initiative.You know how to manage confidentiality.You have good knowledge of Excel.Experience in Accounting is a plus.We are the world's largest hydrogen producer with over 80 years of industrial gas experience.
