At ING we are looking for Paralegal – Legal Department Your role and work environment: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Paralegal to join our Litigation Team of Legal Department This position involves assisting the head of the department, team members and internal clients to ensure legal risks in ING's operations are identified and mitigated.
Your key responsibilities: As a Paralegal you will: Support the Legal team to ensure that the legal and reputational risks of the relevant area are identified, reported, and mitigated.
Process procedural files, organizing relevant information and collecting the means of evidence necessary for the correct defense of the proceedings.
Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of computer applications.
Conduct research, investigating facts and developing legal arguments using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
Summarize cases and prepare reports for attorneys.
Prepare and file documents with courts.
Organize and archive the documents related to completed and ongoing cases.
Keep track of changes in the legal framework and provide timely updates on these changes.
Report relevant data to different areas.
Review external counsel's advice and documents.

Degree in Law from an accredited institution.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience working as a paralegal at a law firm and/or financial institution on litigation and procedural matters.
Desirable expertise fields: litigation, banking, legal operations.
Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to the banking business.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Proven ability to meet stringent deadlines and adapt to changing priorities, operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Fluent English (including drafting legal documents) is a must.
Readiness to face a changing environment and proactive attitude towards new challenges.
