Job purpose: As a Paralegal you will provide expert legal guidance and support to the Customer Experience team, ensuring that Stayforlong's interactions with customers and partners comply with legal and regulatory frameworks.
This role focuses on addressing escalated disputes and optimizing processes to enhance customer trust and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with consumer protection laws, GDPR, tax legislation, and other regulatory requirements.
Oversee and update internal policies and guidelines to reflect current legal standards Provide legal guidance on customer claims, terms, and conditions.
Manage escalated disputes and coordinate with external legal counsel for court cases.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with external partners.
Advise on corporate structure to optimize tax efficiency and reduce risks.
Support compliance efforts, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
Assess legal requirements for entering new markets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor legal aspects of Stayforlong's website, including Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies.
What you will bring: Proven experience (2 years) in handling legal matters, compliance, and contract management, preferably in the tech or hospitality industry .
Solid knowledge of GDPR, privacy, intellectual property, tax law, and compliance.
Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and managing complex agreements.
Experience coordinating with external legal counsel and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with AI tools for optimizing processes and documentation workflows.
Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
A law degree or equivalent legal education is a plus, but not mandatory if backed by relevant experience.
