.OverviewThe PepsiCo Europe Away From Home team is looking for a strategic, creative, and results-oriented New Business Director.
The Director is responsible for developing relevant acquisition strategies in support of securing new business targets over multi-year timelines by leveraging PepsiCo's capabilities and assets for organized Away From Home Customers in Europe.This person will cover all relevant sub-channels within Away From Home such as QSR, Recreation or Lodging.
This role requires strong collaboration with brand, commercial, finance, insights, digital, design, sports & entertainment, innovation, equipment, culinary/mixology, sustainability, category leadership, etc.
- to showcase the best of PepsiCo to prospective customers.
It will also require partnering and aligning with the local Market Units (FOBO and COBO) to ensure pan European winning proposals for New Business Acquisition.In managing this essential function, the Director will lead the strategic consumer and insights-driven Marketing agenda that will convince prospects to switch from current Beverage and/or Foods providers to PepsiCo.
The Director will evaluate business opportunities and exhibit deep Consumer understanding and knowledge of the entire PepsiCo portfolio to do so while leveraging PepsiCo's core brands, such as Pepsi, Lipton, Lays and Doritos, to secure new business partnerships.
In this role, the Director will develop skills in building strong team dynamics in addition to dealing with ambiguity to influence the highest levels of the organization while driving prospect acquisitions.This role reports to the Europe Away From Home Sr Director and will pursue large accounts at Pan European level.ResponsibilitiesAssists in delivering sales & profit plan for Food & BeveragesDelivers annual new customer acquisitions planIdentifies, penetrates & builds relationships at future prospectsActively manages multi-year new customer pipelineCreates monthly report-out of prospecting progress and results versus planIdentifies and Sells PO1 opportunities across AFH Organized CustomersShares competitive intel back to AFH teamMobilizes key stakeholders within the organization to Win New BusinessRequires strong negotiation expertise to win more and profitablySupports Organized KAMs in RFP and renewalsBuild capabilities needed to win for local markets & greater consistency in approachAttendance at industry events to elevate PEP presence & build new business pipeline.QualificationsEducation and Certifications:Bachelor's Degree or MBAWork Experience:10-15 years of sales experience, preferably with a consumer packaged goods organization or Foodservice industriesSkills & Capabilities:Strong leadership & strategic skills with ability to set the agendaProven relationship building and communication skills with executive presence to interact with Sr
