SEK International School Catalunya needs to incorporate a Business Teacher for January 2025.

Mission:

Developing students' critical thinking, analytical, and ethical decision-making skills. In Business, they guide students to understand real-world economic and organizational concepts, preparing them for complex global business environments. The mission is to foster intellectual curiosity, intercultural understanding, and a well-rounded perspective, empowering students to apply knowledge practically and ethically in both local and global contexts.

Functions:?

-Attend department meetings and participate in collaborative planning sessions.

-Develop and implement teaching plans for the subject and other areas within the department.

-Provide individualized support and feedback to students to promote growth and address diverse learning needs.

-Mentor and guide students on extended essays and internal assessments, helping them set goals, conduct research, and refine their work.

-Take part in standardizing assessment tasks.

-Contribute to curriculum research and improvement.

-Stay updated on the IB program guides taught.

-Engage with parents to communicate students' progress and address any academic or personal development concerns.

We offer:

-Fulltime Contract: 9:30 . 17:15 h.
