The role We are looking for an experienced Automotive Cybersecurity Engineer to participate in the definition and development of the next-generation security relevant automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) to pave the way for the future autonomous driving and vehicle electrification.
Our next colleague will be involved in all the phases of the development project for next-generation electronic control units (ECUs) from first prototype concept through pre-series builds and series production including compliance with the state-of-the-art industry standards and OEM standards.
Key responsibilities Development of security concepts and security architectural design for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) up to CAL 4 in accordance with the standard ISO 21434.
Deployment of the internal roadmap of the organization.
Foster the security culture within the organization.
Derivation, specification, and analysis of security requirements in accordance with the state-of-the-art of automotive standards (SPICE V-model).
Execution of security analyses such as thread modeling and vulnerability analyses using ANSYS Medini Analyze for Cybersecurity.
Performing and coordinating the project activities as well as the verification and confirmation reviews.
Supporting security safety audits and assessments internally and with the 3rd party assessors.
Ensure security case completion.
Lead and coordinate hardware and software solutions to enable company product compliance with ISO 21434.
Qualifications Strong technical education or background in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering or similar.
Master in Cybersecurity Engineering is a plus.
1 to 3 years of experience working in the ambit of cybersecurity.
Knowledge in the field of automotive embedded systems development.
Strong background in terms of cryptography and security.
Independent, systematic, and process-oriented approach, great initiative, and sense of responsibility.
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions or departments.
Experience in performing thread modelling and vulnerability analyses is a plus.
Knowledge of the standard ISO 21434 is a plus.
Knowledge of the Black Duck SCA tool or similar SCA tool is a plus.
Knowledge of the Kali Linux for penetration testing is a plus.
