Job DescriptionOur client is in search of a Google Ads Media Buyer with a focus on digital, performance-based products. As a media buyer, your role will involve analysing market data, selecting optimal mediums and placements for marketing campaigns, and negotiating for advertising space and media slots.
To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of marketing principles and be skilled in interpreting analytics. An exceptional media buyer should excel in persuasion and securing advertising space for maximum campaign reach.
YOUR MAIN DUTIES:
Establish, optimise, and expand paid media campaigns and budgets using Google Ads.
Regularly analyse campaign performance, including A/B testing for creative elements to enhance engagement and conversions.
Evaluate new content submissions (e.g., landing page copy) and provide feedback for potential improvements before testing.
Conduct market research to analyse demographics, media usage, psychographics, and purchasing behavior to define target audiences and campaign requirements.
Collaborate with product and marketing teams to develop effective advertising strategies and campaigns for reaching the desired audience.
Source and present audience data and advertising proposals to stakeholders for feedback.
Coordinate and oversee campaign development and launch.
Manage budgets and monitor campaign costs and ROI metrics.
Stay updated on audience and media trends, practices, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience as a performance-driven Google Ads media buyer,with vas / mvas or lead generation-based products.
Familiarity with YouTube Ads, Display, and/or Discovery Ads, and the ability to initiate, optimise, and expand "disruptive" ad formats.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with an analytical approach to handling campaign performance metrics.
Proficiency in utilising spreadsheets for creating reports, analysing data, and driving strategic and tactical decisions.
Capable of managing multiple accounts while effectively organising, prioritising, and structuring workload.
