The role As a pivotal member of our growing Iberia team, you will be instrumental in shaping Ascendis' evolution, bringing innovative therapies to market, and building brand equity for our TransCon endocrinology rare disease products across Spain and Portugal. You will drive strategic marketing initiatives, from pre-launch to post-launch, ensuring success every step of the way
The position is based in Madrid, and you will report to Nyssa Liebermann Noyola, General Manager of Iberia.
Your key responsibilities will be Prepare the launch of palopegteriparatide and future therapies by closely collaborating with cross-functional teams in both local and global settings.Develop and implement robust marketing plans, supported by financial analysis, planning and ROI; manage overall marketing budgetLeverage Global Market Strategy and Brand Plans to create and execute marketing strategy and brand plan for IberiaTranslate excellent disease state understanding, science, and data into impactful marketing efforts and materialsCoordinate and execute highly impactful Ascendis Pharma presence at relevant conferences and eventsOwn Ascendis Pharma Iberia´s digital presence, in alignment with Global guidelines and Spanish and Portuguese normsBe a strong contributor to Ascendis Pharma Iberia´s launches and business overallCollaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, KAMs, R&D, and support functions, as well as external stakeholdersQualifications and skills Degree in Health Sciences; MBA is a plus.Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, ideally with a focus on rare diseases and/or oncology. Experience in endocrinology is a plus.Proven success in launching innovative products and translating scientific knowledge into business outcomesAbility to design and analyze performance reports, competitive data and insights, CRM dataExperience in start-up environment, or at least strong willingness to "roll up the sleeves" and take action in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in which collaboration and multi-tasking are criticalFluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time.Key competencies We are seeking a strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, who can effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
